One of the famous Championship Courses at Carden Park, the Nicklaus Course is the brainchild of golfer, Jack Nicklaus and his son, Steve. The pair designed this course in an American style, straight and long, quite different to the Cheshire Course, but equally challenging.

Jack Nicklaus made the 10th hole the Signature Hole for the Course, based on the layout of the bunkers. The half way house is passed twice on the Nicklaus Course, after the 6th and 13th holes, so you will never be short of a snack or drink. With some holes offering a choice of fairway from which to attack the green, as Jack Nicklaus stated, "This really is a thinking man's golf course".

The Montgomerie Course

International golfing legend Colin Montgomerie is responsible for the magnificent design of the 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course at the Royal Golf Club.

The eight- time European Order of Merit winner, affectionately known as Monty, first visited the island in 2006. After carefully studying the topography and prevailing weather conditions of the site, and using his years of experience playing top golf courses around the globe, Monty and his associates from European Golf Design produced an inspiring plan.

The new Montgomerie course offers a truly unique blend of links and desert golf, taking advantage of Bahrain's natural rough desert terrain and combining it with vast manmade lakes. The desert feel is retained through the use of sandy waste bunkers and the attractive indigenous vegetation and grasses used in the landscaping. However, the rolling links-style fairways and undulating greens are immaculately maintained. With five teeing ground options on each hole and a perfect layout for shot makers and strategic players, the Montgomerie course delivers a challenging and unforgettable experience.

To qualify purchase a 1000 litre tank of ETT's market leading range of liquid fertilisers with your choice of trace elements, seaweed and humic and amino acids. Sufficient to treat 10 hectares for the amazing price of £1,300 – equivalent to only £130 per hectare.

• The winning competitors in each category will fly to Bahrain from Heathrow, to play at The Royal Golf Club in Bahrain.
• The final in Bahrain will be in January 2011.
• The three winners will be required to provide a handicap certificate.

ETT will provide:

• Golf and a lunch at the qualifiers.
• Golf, flights, accommodation and meals in Bahrain for the winners.
