ETT Finds Home at DW Stadium

Wigan Athletic have announced a partnership with ETT to give the DW Stadium dug-out a bit of a face-lift...

Wigan Athletic have linked up with supplier and partner ETT (Environmental Turf Technology) to install some new dug out seating at the DW Stadium.

The new seating was partially in place for the win against Chelsea, for the draws with Manchester City and Fulham and therefore, following the unbeaten sequence, have been installed as the Club's new lucky charm!

Although he doesn't tend to spend too much time sat down during games at the DW, manager Roberto Martinez sees them as a valuable addition to the facilities at the stadium, "Little by little we are improving the matchday experience at the Club and initiatives like this can only help to promote the club onto the next level. We thank Richard (Lawrence from ETT) for supporting us both in the new dug out seating but also with their products that seem to have worked wonders on the playing surface."

Along with Head Groundsman Ian Forshaw, ETT have developed a bespoke programme for the supply of products for the pitch that are able to present a better surface for the passing game the Club espouses and are also able to deal with the rigours of the Wigan winter.

ETT supply products to football clubs and golf courses throughout the world, and Managing Director Richard Lawrence commented on the partnership with the club, "ETT are delighted to increase their involvement with Wigan Athletic. Everyone at Wigan has made us and our customers feel welcome and part of a winning team."

Latics Commercial Director Paul Hunt says, "It is hoped that the new seating adds something to matchdays and that we can retain the support of our partner ETT for many years to come."
